timing chain

Just did one last week. It slid right off

Btw how many miles are on that original set? It looks pretty rough. Also just wondering what oil you use?

odometer shows 75,000 miles on this car. It had been sitting for "about10 years" before my friend bought it to save it, so we have no info on it's prior maintenance. The engine oil was very clean/new when he got it. Engine fairly clean inside. Top end was fine. Only 6% leak down so the heads stayed on.

Just going through it so it will be dependable, and of course not leak oil everywhere.
Rods and main bearings, valve springs, timing set, oil pump, seals and gaskets.

Just a quick before and after of the project. It deserved the effort.

Excellent job! So glad you put all the time and effort into that poor GN and saved it! My hat's off to a true car guy. Congrats! It's what I like to see in this world more often.
