Thermo housing?

I am ordering a 160 therm due to the fact that right now I have a 190 thermo in....and im wondering if i should spend the extra 20 bucks for the new housing by kirban, the therm was changed by good-year about 4 months ago. What do you guys think?

Replace it.

It couldn't hurt to replace it. I think the price for the Kirban piece is around $20(?), and it will save you a lot of aggravation if the original one becomes damaged upon removal. It's worth the $$ and the headache saved.

I agree, definately a nice piece, I will be working on dressing up the engine compartment this winter and that housing is on the list, hey, if it dont go, chrome it!

NAPA tstat housing for 89 TTA w/o-ring

Pic doesn't look exactly like the one I bought there. Much better than stocker.

Whatever you do, just make sure you have a new o-ring.
