T-type Wheels and 12" Brakes

I am new to the forums, but I have looked thru all the posts, and can't seem to find an answer to my question...

I want to to the B-body spindle with 1LE 12" Camaro rotors. I am trying to find out if 86/87 aluminum T-type wheels will bolt on without spacers. Apparently, 84/85 aluminum GN wheels will, but due to a slight backspace difference, 86/87 aluminum T-type wheels won't. I have read information on the 12" Baer brake conversion, but I only need to know about the 1LE rotor and B-body caliper conversion. I really want to keep my original wheels. Does anyone out there have 12" brakes with 86/87 aluminum T-type wheels? Any input is muchly appreciated.

The '86 T-type wheels should fit fine. mine do.

Mine didn't fit, and that was with all new b-body pieces and Global West arms. The conversion pushed the wheels outward, and caused clearance problems. I went to 16" GTA wheels, backs on front for extra clearance. HTH.
