switching to a 400 questions

anyone have or can give a list of all things/mods needed to run a bop th400?

oh and what kinda rpm's are yo running at highway speeds?
most speed limits around here are 70 and typical speed is in the 75mpg range

My rpm with 275/60/15 dr's are around 2300-2500 at 70 or so. That is with a 3.50 gear.

While driving on the highway, pull the shifter into "DRIVE" and that'll be your rpm. The 200-4R has a ratio of 1.00 in Drive and the T400 has a ratio of 1.00 in 3rd.

what about shifters? also if your running a chip does it have to see park/n or does the chip programmer turn it off? not trying to hijack your thread just thought those are important questions i dont know the answer to.

You will see 3000 rpm at 60 mph with an accurate rpm tach. With a 27" tall tire and 3.50 gear.

you can use the stock shifter with a reverse pattern 400. You will need a new gate for the shifter. I have one if you decide to go that way. You also need a drive shaft. Your trans. mount will work with a little fab work. And a torque converter. Dip stick and tube for the 400.

does it just screw into the 400?
also for what its worth im going to use a 275 60 15 rear tire and most likely a 3500 stall for the te45a :tongue:

Speedo cable is the same, and fwiw, my stock cross member and driveshaft are working fine with my 400. From what I hear, YMMV on those two though.
