I know that fuel pressure is supposed to go up 1 psi per lb of boost... But where is the starting point? Should it go up 1:1 from idle fuel pressure? with line on or off? Thanks for any input!

Say you're fuel pressure was 38psi with line on. That would be your starting point for fuel pressure to keep pace with boost. 1lb increase in fuel pressure for 1lb increase in boost. HTH

Line off is the base pressure. That is the same as no boost and no vacuum (barometric).

Believe me, line off is the base pressure. Should rise 1:1 with boost from there.

Ahh ok thank you! That helps a lot

It wasn't a stupid question to ask, alot of people honestly ask about what the fuel pressure should be that at some point were new to these cars. It's a fairly commonly asked thing about these cars.
