STS turbo systime on a series 2 3800?

Was wondering if anyone here has boosted or has any insight into my idea of turboing a series 2 3800 in a 99 Camaro. I bought the car with a bad motor and slapped a low mileage (42k) 3800 out of a 02 bird into it. I was thinking about buying a used STS kit off a camaro board and putting it on the car. Would be and easy job with just a little tubing work being different so thats not an issue. How would this motor hold up with a low boost (5-8#) setup? Would just love to have a 6 banger camaro that could mess with some of the LS1 cars so not looking for crazy power. Any thoughts?

There is a guy on here with a yellow camaro that has a turbo 3800. Don't know the details though. I'm pretty sure he's putting up some impressive #s.
