Much like a gun that may or my not be loaded.... If you don't know what pump is in there (and how old it is), it's a stock pump that needs replacing.

Toss that pulsaster too. While you've got it off, see if the necked down portion has been cut off.

Thanks dropped the tank for Koshe to see what fuel pump he had in there. I think he is ordering the 340 pump with complete sender from Racetronix. He already has a hotwire from Racetronix.
