Stock Analog dash - verify illumination

I'm changing the standard bulbs to LEDs. I want to verify the LEDs illuminate before installing cluster into the dash. Anyway to 'hotwire'?

The easiest way on stuff like that is to put a couple wires on a cordess drill battery

ok yes so what dash wires do I jump?

18 Pin square connector pin 10 is rheostat lamp voltage, pin 11 and 8 ground.

This will probably only illuminate the dash lighting, if you replaced things like turn signals and other oil, water, etc. indicators you'd need the whole diagram from the service manual to test each one individually.

Don't have time to post that today I'm sure someone else could though.
