Smog and cams

Poston 107T has passed for me. Try to keep the LC as clost to stock as possible. The more advance there is in the cam, the higher the NOx number. If you decide to use a cam with more advance, then make sure your EGR and Three-way-cat are up to snuff.

Most aftermarket cams for turbo Buick applications will pass as long as the rest of the emissions systems are up to par. We have several cars running 212/212 with 112 lobe separation and 218/218 cams wth a 110 LSA that pass CA emissions. There is actually a local guy that has a Stage II headed Stage II motor in his car with a 222/218 cam and his passes smog with 96# injectors.
