side/front light markers help

Wondering if any one knew how the wiring runs from the light switch to the markers on the front. I had to cut the brown wire which control them because it was burning/smoking, which eventually burnt the light switch out.

I replaced the switch and the wiring, yet when i connect the brown wire it still smokes. So i need to track down the problem thats making it hot. So my markers will work!

Dead short.. I would pull back the loom and see if there are any pinched or smashed wires, may even consider another frt wire harness,should not be too hard to find... It's not worth taking a chance and burning up the car... Good luck....
