Sensor brand, GM vs. other's?

Is there any difference in the various systems performance etc using GM brand sensor's vs. the lesser $$ that autozone etc sell
I have a FAST but i think this applies to DFI etc

ie, i would like to add a knock sensor to my car, and was wondering if the import/autozone sensors are any more/less sensitive etc
