Screw or Glue Slicks????

I have been getting some great advice about the slicks I am about to buy. I heard two different schools of thought. One says to screw the slicks and use tubes and the other says to not use screws and tubes: instead, use 3Mweather stripping adhesive on the bead. I will be using MT ET drags and my car should be in the 11s in the future. Let me know the pros and cons of screwing or not screwing ...thanks

I have been using the 3-M without tubes for years on two different cars. Both have run in the 10's. I have had no problems. But if it gives you piece of mind then I would get the tubes and screw them. I guess it's all up to you.

Forget the tubes...try the adhesive...if it doesn't work and the tires move on the rims then put screws in...easy to do...
