Scanmaster problem

I bought a scanmaster off ebay that was on an 03 GTP and i figured it would work. Am I wrong? It still only has the three wire hook up. I have an 87 GN. It powers up and goes through two different screens and then nothing, like the computer and scanmaster are not talking. Any ideas guys? Thanks

It won't work. It has to be made for the turbo Buick.

Put it back on eBay or you might could send it back to the dealer and get changed over.

If it is for a L67 it should only have 1 connection into the ALDL.
