So, the tables have turned on the white one. Too bad. I really like those ones....... :confused:

However, that is one weird rust pattern, honestly. Colorado red mud, maybe? But even then....... odd.

I used to live a town or two over, they use rocks on the road instead of sand in the winter. It's brutal on everything. I suspect it just pitted chrome and easily rusted even if you drove it in the spring after the salt washes away.
 
The car is living in Conifer now. it is from Oklahoma. Only been in Colorado a few years he said.
