E earlbrown runs with scissors Joined May 26, 2001 Oct 20, 2017 #2 It flows better so there's less pressure drop. The real world benefits are more pressure at idle and less bypass oil going around the filter media. It's worth the money if you're still running the oil cooler sammich adapter.
