Resetting the IAC on a FAST system?

Can anyone tell me if there is a way to reset the IAC on a FAST system? I'm told, by friend who use the GM ECU's, that there are ways to force the IAC to reset in case it somehow gets 'off'. For example, with the TPI system, there is a sequence you can go through to force it closed, and then the ECU and the IAC are in sync again.

So, is there a similar procedure for the FAST system? Or can the FAST ECU and IAC ever get out of sync like this? If so, could someone please post it for me, since FAST is closed this week?

This happens everytime the ignition is turned off. It's all automatic.
