Remote Power Passenger Side Mirror

My remote mirror for the passenger side does not work. I move the knob on the dash of the 86 t-type, but mirror doesn't move.

Any suggestions on a possible fix?

Your cable might be broke?? Mine Seems stretched out, works half-azz.

Mine was doing the same thing also so I just replaced mine with a manual one that I can set and leave alone. Cost me 20 bucks at junkyard for a nice one

Take off the dash bezel and look at the mount.

Mount is a cast greenish pot metal thingy. Should be screwed securely into the plastic behind the dash.

There is alsoa set screw allen wrench type that holds the cable securely at the mount.

If that is loose and floating around the window is very very hard to adjust.

I assume you can hear and fell the cables moving around with the knob, right? Should be some resistance there....
