I come here to learn.
I'm a backyard trans builder. Nothing like you, Chris, Lonnie, Mike, etc...
I am also a master auto tech, master machinist, etc..
So I have a pretty good technical and hands-on understanding of the fundamentals of mechanical things.

I wouldn't come here and even imply that any of the big name builders here aren't to snuff.
I don't rate high enough on the evolutionary scale to do so.

I was once a member of an military special ops unit, and you damn sure don't show up there as a newbie and start telling the senior members their "johnny come lately" in any fashion
Quick way to get your a$$ kicked, and make life miserable until you quit or they kill ya trying to make you.


I'll go read more on the Raybestos site, but I'm still gonna ask about your blanket statement on the Kolene's....
