I've always run an external gate on my car. Mostly a ATR 3" DP with ATR gate... but now (temporarily) a Bob Simms 3" DP with Richard Lee external gate. My ATR gate is 100% trashed, so I'll probably go with a Racegate since it'll bolt up to the ATR DP.
I believe the ATR DP has a larger wastegate hole than most downpipes.
