Pressure port plug & servo

This is the main line pressure port plug I pulled from the trans (2004R). Is the additional length on purpose? That is the straight area past the threads. I'd like to retain the -4 JIC piece that replaced it, but not sure why this plug is the way it is:

Note for anyone trying to remove this plug, go right for the 6-point socket. The 12-point just rounds it off.

Anyone know whose servo this is?

It may be, it doesn't match the pictures of the current ones. But this one is likely ten or more years old.

Superior Super Servo, sonnax are attached to the piston.

Glad I could help. Sonnax is a much better design due to pin being attached to the piston.
