BEATAV8 The Engine Whisperer Joined Feb 14, 2002 May 28, 2018 #2 Internal leakage. Usually requires installation of a new seal kit and fine sanding of the check valve poppet seat surface to ensure it seals. Worst case, the pump is shot. But not usually.

The switch and accumulator ball are easy but you need a 1 1/2" socket for the switch and a thin open end for the ball. HF open end was thin enough.
