Power steering pump is leaking, any one know what the part

kit ( I think thats what there called)

Thanks

Brand new PS pumps are discontinued. GM does sell a reman'd pump under part number 88985258 but it is a POS import built part that is probally of the same quality as one offered through NAPA or AutoZone. The front seal of the pump is actually a sealed bearing so it may be leaking past a scored shaft. You can buy the bearing under GM part #26001378 with the seal kit #26024155.

No not really, the hardest part is removing the pressure and return lines. You also have to rent the tool to R&R the pulley.

are you sure its the pump? i blew out a pressure hose a while ago, made a mess of everything, i thought it was the pump too untill i say a huge bulge in the hose. 30 minutes and $20 later the problem was gone.

i hope thats your problem!

Also check the clamp on the return hose at the pump. They tend to loosen up and cause a leak.
