Power Master Problem

Drove car to Lowes. Worked fine. Came out, started car, light on, extremely hard pedal. Went home, began trouble shooting. Had replaced the accumulator ball about 6 months ago ( less than 500 miles since). Decided it was the pump, no noise. Replaced the pump. Still hard pedal. Replaced the switch. Still hard pedal. What's left? Not likely the proportioning valve is it?
All help appreciated.

sorry to say but it sounds like the accumulator ball went out again. I hate them, some last forever and others don't. Good luck with it.
EDIT:
Is the pump motor working now after the replacement? If not then check the fuse. Usually the balls do give a little warning before the go but who knows
