Would love to post some pics, but like SGRIM says, just another way for someone to know what you got..

Well...

Not to be a downer and the pics are nice but remove them. Keep what you have between friends and keep them safe for now. Remember what happened in Ausie land and England. What the government doesn't know won't hurt us, will it? I've removed what I have at the moment and Shane HAS seen what's in my local but keep your friends close and keep your guns loaded and hidden for now.

The only one,Its a generic pic because it would be illegal to own one;)

Who told you that gun's illegal?

And DAM guys!? I had no idea you were some gun hoardin' mother****ers... Had no clue.. I bought a few more guns on leave. Have to share when I get back home..

And all that about "I don't wanna post pictures, then they'll know what I got"... Ok, So they do find out what you have... What are they gonna do about it.... Nothin. 'Cept get shot if they **** around, that's what.

What happened in Australia, would have happened regardless if the gov't knew or not. What REALLY happened in Australia, is that all the mens spines fell right out of their vaginas, and they LET the government take their ****...
C'mon guys, you know the phrase. "When it's time to start burying the guns, it's time to start diggin' 'em up."
Trust me, our government's not going to take guns anytime soon.

Nice BREN or is it a ZB Chech version? Just saying that there are lots of ways people can trace you on the internet now and I'd rather not have someone know anything more about me than I post on here about cars.

That machinegun is a type 96 from japan. And I'm much more sure the thief gets his intel from watching you carry your gun case from the house, to the trunk of the car, rather than hanging out on your favourite internet site...... And if they're locked up in safe like they're supposed to be, then you shoudn't have anything to worry about.

Type 96 is a ZB copy. You need to get Jains ID book. Some good info in it to idetify toys with.
Everything I have is locked up but I live in the country so I doubt some one will watch me load up anything. There have been times when things dissapear out here and the neighbors aren't around. We lost a log splitter a couple of years ago on a Sunday morning while everyone was in Church. They cut the chain and no one saw a thing.

That makes sense, as the Japanese arms manufactures weren't really on the ball in the 20's and 30's. They didn't need to be either. Though, good guess on the Bren. Most people think bren the instant they see a bananna mag protuding from the top of the receiver. (as did i a while back) I'm a huge arms freak. Now, it's my hobby. I collect guns.
As for the stuff disappearing. I understand that. I grew up in detroit lol. If you want some chain/padlocks advice, let me know, as I'm an amateur locksmith in my spare time... :) I can direct you to some locks and chain that would break their bolt cutters.

Since you're in service I'm suprised you don't know about the Janes book series. They were created by the Brittish military to help the troops ID weapons in the field. great series and it does small arms, planes, large arms, and mobile equiptment. Very detailed and fun to read if you're into toys.

As far as the locks I'd like to know which ones are the best but we have some logging chain that we've been using to secure stuff now.

I actually know all about janes. They are indeed wonderful books. they used to sit around the barracks for study material, back when identify threat or friendly flashcards were testable. I do know about 'em.

If you want padlocks, give me your email address. I'll forward you some sites.

Email is my name at hotmail and I'm sure you can figure out the rest. Thanks.

Do some more reading in janes on the variations of the toys it lists. It give you the countries that have coppied the various toys. If you're ever in England you need to try and get permission to visit the Royal Armory. Most complete collection of toys and if you ask your escort you can handle them as well. You have to write to the ministry and get permission about a year in advance but if you're allowed you'll have a woody just walking around looking. Great stuff.

tactical shotty and my stash

i would go with something like a beneli ( not sure if i spelled it right ) but they make several and one that is very nice and selectable on firing. either pump or auto. i own a spas which is a tactical shotgun only drawback is finding a gunsmith that knows how to work on it and finding parts. i'll post some pics shortly. the one thing that doesn't amaze me is the amount of firepower my feller turbo buick guys own. i for one am also a gun nut but own @ 10 guns. my baby is my baby eagle and my twin 50 caliber desert eagles. those boys pack a hell of a punch, i'd hate to get hit by one i can tell you that. and feeding them costs about 225 per bullet. i'm not brand specific and own a springfield armory 1911, shot it and a guy next to me had a kimber with some work done to it. i could tell the differance but then again if you have work done to it then of course you'll feel the differance. so guy's i'm with you and of course my CHL helps get my guns without the wait and have gotten me out of a few tickets so i can say it helps. But some of you guys have a collection that make me say damn and i managed a pawnshop for over 10 yrs and had a few more but dwindled it down alittle but still some of the firearms that came through we're awesome. as far as the streetsweeper, i'd watch out, i know those guns are always on the list of being illegal to own due to their purpose in the wrong hands. i know we here on the board are all legit owners and proud of them but still you know how the anti gun nuts are. act like we're gunning for them and that's the farthest from the truth. i don't have any problems with anyone unless they pose a threat to me, my family or my property.
