no sure which one to install. Is precision trans the guys to
deal with on this. I had great success with the art carr 9 inch
years ago, now I understand they have been bought out.
Does anyone have any feedback on the lock and non-lock-up

my set-up is
231--.030 over
206-206-hydraulic cam
ported iron heads
atr headers
4bolt te-63 turbo
83-Ibs injectors
fast fuel management-sequential
70-mm throttle body w/ atr modified upper plenum.

I would like feed back what convertor to install. I will be driving
the car to work twice a week and taking it to the track a couple
of times through the summer, just to get a number on it,
Thanks

For driving on the street, lock-up is definitely better. We have had nothing but great success with Precision Industries convertors, but beware, they do cost a pretty penny!!

The real Art Carr is back in business in Huntington Beach Ca.
A 9" non l/u will 60' better because of it's lighter rotating weight. You will sacrifice 1-2 mpg over a l/u though. Art's #19930 is like his old #16930 converter but now has a billit front cover & other refinements.
