Hi everyone my name is Larry Rudduck and I'm a
new member here. I've been browsing here for a
while and thought it was time to join up. I own a
85 Monte Carlo SS but have been looking at bump-
steer and audio threads for info I can use on my SS.
I really enjoy coming here so I hope you'll let me stay.
If y'all don't mind I have a question about a company
I read about in a Car Audio thread. The company is
Jays GN, and I was wondering if anyone has tried his
4 or 6 speaker package. At $275 for the 4 spkr setup
it sounds good price wise. Sounds like he put a lot of
thought into a package for just G Bodies.
Thanks a lot, talk to ya later!

I've never heard of it. for $275 you can buy 4 really nice speakers, so i'm not sure its all that great of a deal, but i'm not saying it isn't if they are great speakers. You should look at what all is included in the package then find comparable products and price it out that way, its probably just a set of 3 1/2 and 4x10 (i think thats what stock speakers are, correct me if i'm wrong please) Look for good name brand speakers, personally I like blaupunkt, they sound better than great, and are priced reasonably. or look for kenwood, pioneer, rockford fosgate, thoes kinds of things. see how good the price really is.

Denn454,
Thanks for your feedback. I already have the Alpine
6x9/3.5 setup in there now. I was just interested in
other options out there and like Jay said it was is
designed to go in the G Body rather than in just any
car. Can't hurt to look at what others have done.
Thanks again, Larry.

I agree with the Blaupunkts, i have the 3.5's in the dash and 5.25" in the doors and i love them. I put Pioneer 4 x 10's in the back and they are pretty good.
