new ebay headers

Has anyone made any passes before and after with these headers? It would be nice to see what kind of gains people are seeing. I read 2mph for one person, anyone else??

SETurbo

Has anyone ordered any ATR Header crossover gaskets from SETurbo & Performance? I tried to order a few of them from thier website and when I clicked on "Check Out" it said " thanks, we will contact you soon" It never prompted me a payment screen. So umm....why do they have to contact me over some do-nut gaskets?! I even emailed them direct out it and still nothing! I'm not buying viagra here, I dont see why they have to review and approve my order

got most of the motor back together today including these headers....aside from the crossover not being at all close everyting else lined up perfect, didnt have to dent the DP or have any probs with headers bolt holes lining up or the turbo not being in the right spot...hopefully this week i will get to the crossover im gonna try some cutting and re-welding to get it right if not im gonna trailor it to a local guiy to have a new one bent up...

may be the 2000 degree coating or whatever it is. That is what I got on mine. But it looks like AZZ after a short while ... :(

So whats the latest on people that have installed these and actually have some miles on them?? I was thinking about getting a set for my White-T whick is a daily driver.

ok.. i installed mine.. but i cut the vband flanges off and made my own..
they look good, fit fine and ZERO leaks.. ill see if i can step outside and take a few pics.
If your are on a budget, and have some mechanical skills, or know a decent muffler shop.. you cant beat em for the price.

Nice job Phil! Now thats what I like. Simplified but yet sufficient.
Thats the way to do it.

I test fitted mine on an engine that was on a stand. I also bolted up a stock turbo and turbo hanger as well. With that being said, the following issues were found with my headers:
1) The crossover is way off and needs several cuts/welds to shorten it and get it bent back to where it should be.
2) The v-band flange on the passenger header is not bent/welded in the correct angle, so when the crossover is bolted on it (the crossover) hits the center primary tube.
3) The turbo flange sits approx 1/2" lower than stock. The angle appears correct, but height is wrong. I'll have to weld another 3 bolt flage to the one that's already there to take up the slack.

Not what I was hoping to see, but at the same time I kinda expected it. It'll just be another project that I'll eventually get to, and it'll help hone my fabrication skills.

Afterall, what do you expect for $175? :)

Pacemaker, in your pix, you don't have the dustcover on the tranny. Is that b/c it wouldn't fit with the crossover pipe?
