Need help with speedo

Hey guys,
I just did a th400 trans swap in my T-type and runs really solid. The only problem I am having is that my 200r4 speedo cable is not engaging into the th400 speedo gears and the reson for the speed gage not working.:frown: When I looked at the end at the cable it has a round tip versus a square on the speedo gear. Any suggestion will be appreciated.

The cable is suppose to have a square end.

The cable it self is square but the tip of it is rounded.
When I took off the speedo gear from the 200r4, hooked up it up to the cable, the gear turn the cable with no problems. But when I tried to hook it up with the gear from the th400, it was just rotate with in the the gear .

Found the problem. Worn out speedo gear. I changed it out and speedo is up and running.:biggrin:
