for those with th LS and 4l80 swap, I need a measurement from the back of the trans to the top of the tunnel, any reference point is fine! Trying to see what mods I need to make to the stock crossmember.... Thanks!!!

I can measure mine. Will be later today.
Here's a pic or 2 of what I did.
The flats are to replace the soft rubber mts on the ends of the x member.
The mount is set low, and is made that way so I can use shims to adjust driveline angle.
The ugly tig welding is by "Chuck, the old guy".
I may have a pic of the x member mocked up in the frame, w/ the body off. I'll look.

looks like the mount at the trans is 2 7/16 further back than the 200-4r , but the 200-4r xmember mounting point is stepped back from the actual trans mount bolting point with the 2004r mount

trans dimensions ..

looking at that with the hrparts poly 2004r mount you should be able to flip his mounting bracket and accomplish what chuck has tried to do (done) and be able to pretty close to be able use the stock 2004r xmember

Thanks for the pics! Should help....
If you could take a measurement by the end of the weekend, it would be much appreciated!
