"My Gbody With Grand National Hood"

putting a gn motor in any gody is pretty easy ...but from experience i would go with a ls motor becuase parts are too expensive and most cannot be bought at autozone or your local parts store..but if you want to be different gn motor is the way to go..

Today i installed the extention i need to mount the 200r4 xmember.. And installed the crossmember for measurments.. The extention was difficult to install becuase of the th350 frame holes were smashed so i couldnt put the extention threw!!
Alot of muscle and cold floor but i did it.. Drilled holes for support and its ready to hit the tranny shop.. Trans on a jack at the moment but will have to put a wood block between the crossmember and tranny so the motor wont fall back

I also drained the 350 tranny to see what was on the pan and there was alot of metal shaving.. It was worse on the filter.. Stay tuned guys TT back in da streets soon!! Enjoy the pics..

Extention!! Mad at it!! Took me 3-4 hours!! :blam:

Heres the difference from the th350 and 200-4r tranny mount.. About 2-3 inches plus the extention:

So this morning i installed the corrector geometric holley bracket and lower TV bracket.. The bracket actually screwed in with the upper throttle bracket from procomp, so it worked out great.. I can actually move the TV bracket back if the adjustment is too loose etc etc..

I also did alot of searching for 200r4 TV cable adjustments, and seems pretty easy.. Its pretty much pressing in the adjust tap on the cable, pushing in the slider to reset the cable, then WOT (wide open throttle) the slider will slide out and it sets it self and its adjusted.. Then u test drive, know if u dont feel like ur getting the correct shifts then thats when u move the bracket back and repeat the steps.. I guess its all about how u feel the tranny is shifting and if its to ur spec...i checked in my my trans guy and he said the same thing.. If i run into problems to just stop by the shop and it only take mins to do.. I GOT THIS!! lol

Heres alittle diagram and site that might help others adjust the cable:

Heres a pic of the slider out and adjusted after WOT.. So know a test drive and hopefully i got it the first time

Took a drive to Elko Warrens house today to pick up his Famous Wheel Wells, dayum they so smooth as fuck!! Big shot up to u :) also picked up the steering gear box and all installed...

I did do a test drive it ran ok.. Im not use to this 200r4 and shift kit in it, im not sure what a shift kit is suppose to feel like , 1st gear was fast and 2nd was ok and fast to with alittle tug... I did the adjustment and i think the shifts are to tight... Im not goin to risk it and just wait till monday morning and head out to the tranny shop and have them adjust the cable and bracket and have them test drive it before i do with the new adjustments..

Just alittle update, i still need to change my oil pan and a good oil change, hasent been changed since purchased...i will feel better knowing the pan, gasket, oil filter, oil etc has been change and fresh... Posi coming soon too... Untill all this is done then I will start driving more than offten:

hello; Looks like you've been very busy. What are the wheel wells made of ? Looks like they belong on a show car ? pretty nice.

I love the dark grey color on your 'Bu! I'm not a fan of the big wheels either, but you are probably correct in that you'd get chopped up and spit out where you live if you didn't do it that way.

Good job on the hood. I have always been partial to the GN hood buldge and it looks great on other cars.

Hit the junk yard today early morning to step my game up on this LS1 camaro gbody disc brake set up!! It was a must!! Took off a 1998 camaro front caliper and rear, also got the backing plates.. Thanks to Jesse "Chevyholics" for getting his wrench on with me.. We ran into each other and he was all excited to wrench with the 80z crew  was fun!!

This may sounds stupid, but it was my first time removing axles and was super super super easy!! Thanks to Skip for all the vids and texting, if it wasent for him i probley would of pulled the wrong shit!! Jesse also pulled a set for him lmao, those were the only two camaros there with the set up.. I guess they really hard to find and he wasent going to pass them by :)

I tried researching and just got a 44 second video showing the wheel wells. I'd like to see how he did them because they look pretty damn good. My engines out right now and wouldnt mind getting them looking like that.
