mounting bracket for transalator

TurboRick mounted mine to the drivers side wheel well.. No bracket. I also custom made a plate that covers the MAF translator, as I didn't like the bright pink yellow and black stock cover.

Is your vehicle equipped with cruse control??? If not I have a bracket designed.....

Here is where I have mine mounted. I have a plate on the bottom of this part of the inner fender well and it's double sided taped in and easy to get to. I may get a billet style cover to get rid of the 1980's style sticker they still insist on selling these with...lol...

I didn't like the colorful label as well... So I made one using some laserable aluminum and my CO 2 laser.. Did a custom turbo 6 and text...covered the ugly neon wording right up!

Got mine mounted behind the glove box, been that way for 10 years now. Can't tell I have a translator from under the hood. No wires running back and forth from inside the car to underhood either, underhood wiring is all stock (except maybe an adapter to connect the new MAF to the stock MAF plug?) Do a search on "samurai" and my username and you'll get the threads that describe this install method. Links to the schematics I made at the time are broken, but I can post them here if there is interest. It's not plug n play, but it is an out of sight install.
