Mechanical VDO install

Finally the nice weather has arrived her in the North East

With that said, I have a VDO mechanical oil pressure gauge that I would like to install this weekend.

My question is were on the block do I run the copper tubing too?

Is there more involved?

I'm a dumb a$$

Tee it in before the oil sending switch.

Ok great, but were exactly is that located? Is it on the passenger side?

Yes, behind the lower radiator hose, the sender is located in a fitting coming out of the side of the block. Put in a brass tee fitting between the sender and adapter with the "leg" pointing up for your gauge line.

If you pull off the lower radiator hose from the water pump, it will give you full view and easy access to install your plumbing.
