Max boost on TE44 & 009's - 112 octane?

BALLPARK - How many lbs of boost can a TE44, 009's(42lbers), TT chip,(NO alky), and 112 octane???? What ET (1/4) will the 009's go?

I have gone 23with aalky and 36 lb injectors!!i I went 12.30 with stock intercooler/turbo with 36lbijectorsand 21 pounds boost

Since you had alky. you were sending more fuel, so the injectors werent running at such high of a duty cycle. IMHO, I would ruin an injector past 80% duty cycle since then the spray patterns starts messing up...

Melissa's old set up but with 36# blue tops .. mid 11s for years @ 118 with drag radials .. 22#s of boost ummm this was befoe TT chips came out :biggrin: now she runs their chip .. what a difference

I, like Grumpy went 11.50's@118 with a TA49 and 36# bluetops at 23 psi.

If you can't run mid 11's with 009's with 112 octane, there is still something left.

I agree 009s should be good to low 11's. Maybe a high 10 if tuned perfect with alky. I think the TE44 is what will hold you back.

i am at 23lbs with ported heads and that is all the 44 will make on my car. i am running a ME-R with wideband correction. i can run just the injectors but they are at their max. put an alky kit on and save your money from buying race fuel and be set to kill at all times. times are in my sig with a very soft launch because of a stock slipping trans..hth..Bob

009s wioth pt52

I went 11.69 @ 102 with 009s and a pt 52. @ 23 lbs. 1.69 60 ft. Got a little knock at the end. had to let out the last 300 ft. This was on 111 oct. (turbo blue). I'm going to the 60lb. injectors next. Car weighs 3725 with driver.
