Search for a ATI Pitbull street chip... It'll disable that over boost CEL and a few other things.. raises the revs a bit to nothing radical at all and uses stock 2 bar map sensor.
It's the safest stock like chip for these trucks and normally sells in the $50 to $150 range over on SyTy/SGT Forums occasionally. I'd put a want add out there with your needs.
