Will noisy lifter tap or rocker arm slap send out knock signals?How sensative is the knock sensor, and how can you tell if the knock sensor is bad ? Just trying to chase down & maybe get ride of some false knock.
most knock i have seen is 9.6 on scanmaster sometimes at 14mph and at 65mph if you watch it while you go thru the gears it proggesivly gets worse mostly with higher rpms.
Might want to check the clearance on the THDP. My stock DP would hit the crossover or the frame rail. I know the THDP is bigger and I didn't think there was much room for the stock DP.
Just hit the side of the cat or pipe with you fits and check for it hitting anything.
Do you have an engine tight down or new motor mounts?
tie down stap was off at the time,thdp is close to the haeter box but doesnt motor rock down away from heater box? motor mouts have not been changed ,afraid if i chage thdp will hit the heater box metal cover
