Intercooler shroud \ scoop..

Does anyone have a link or information for how to make an intercooler scoop out of a trashcan.. I know it sounds weird but Ive heard you can use somekind of trashcan from home depot to make one... any help would be apprciated.. The search didnt turn up anything..
I hit a big F'n canadian goose (on accident) doing about 40mph this weekend and he ripped it off my car when he went under... need to get it fixed.. thanks

I've seen metal scoop kits on the forum, but it has been awhile.

They could be raised or lowered, like at the track or for on the street.

The trashcan mod lives! It's basically a black rectangular trashcan, I got mine at office max. most people fit them inside the rubber scoop but like you mine went away.

I cut the can in half lenghtwise to make 2 scoops.

I then cut some slots in the back (bottom) to slip the I/C shroud into. it's a little narrower than the shroud but it will still scoop up air.

Then you have to fit it into place and affix it to the side air dams.
I can't remember the size can, but it is medium sized, about 18" tall(?)
If you figure out a better way to affix it let me know!
