Install problems with Alradco Dual Fans.

Having some problems getting the Alradco dual fans installed, none of the mounting points line up, they're simply too wide compared to the stock fan, both top and bottom.

There's nothing in the install document about this, should this be a drop in unit as claimed or do I need to come up with a custom/different mounting solution?

You don't need the mounting points. Here is why. That shroud was made to cover the entire radiator.

So it drops right in at the bottom with no bolts. The top is secured with the radiator hold down plate. Take off the plate, put the shroud in, line it up on the radiator so it covers all the fins, place top plate back on and bolt it down.

Thats it.

Remember, one fan will kick on high, the drivers side, when temps get high. Both fans will ony run when the AC is turned on.

Yes one fan will cool the motor back down. I checked it out myself.
