I just fired up my new motor and can,t get my iac to hold a number.It starts at 30 and counts down to ooo and stays there.Any help would be great.
I did check for vac leaks,did not find any.
Did you drive the car for about 5 miles for the ECM to relearn the IAC setting?
Sometimes this can be an issue. Either way, sounds like the adjustment screw needs to be backed out a bit. Usually I go 1/8 turn increments.
