I am slowly getting my Hydroboost installed. Looking at the 10-1740 master cylinder, it looks like you do NOT switch the brake lines like with the 84/85 master cylinder. I have not attached the metal brake lines yet, I am currently bleeding the master. Can anyone using the 10-1740 tell me if you had to bend the metal brake lines to fit, or do they fit like stock? Thanks guys!!

That's what I have found.. I now have the Hydroboost master mounted and the lines connected. I did have to massage them to fit, but the larger one still goes to the forward port. I also found an article from GMHTP on the conversion that looks like the same m/c. Larger line clearly goes to the forward port. Thank you, Turbonut!! I do appreciate it!

Is yours an 84-85 as this would make sense as it didn't have a powermaster.

So he has a late 85? Then I would say it odd that the brake lines lined up when swapping from powermaster.
