Ok so I just replaced my Turn Signal Cam that was preventing my horn from working. The plastic piece had broken off.
I rented the Wheel Puller and Lock Plate puller from AutoZone and also purchased a new Turn Signal Cam.
I installed the new Turn Signal Cam and put everything back on. My horn was working again! Yaay!
I drove to AutoZone in the GN and returned the tools I loaned out. On the way back I was testing out the horn. So far so good, a little sensitive but it WORKS!
I parked the GN in the garage and went inside the house. About 45 minutes later my horn started going off, non stop! I ran to the garage unlocked the car, popped the hood and disconnected the 2 green wires that lead to the horns.
Anyone have any idea as to what is going on? The only thing I didnt install was the new Turn Signal Cam came with a black paper ring. If you bend it, the black dissappears. The other side is completely black. Reason why I didn't install is was that the old Turn Signal Cam didnt have one.
Here is a picture of the old Cam and the black paper ring (Both sides).
