Hidden wipers?

Do Buicks have hidden wipers? The kind that tuck down under the hood so they stay out of sight when off.

Its been so long since I drove the Buick I cant remember.

I found my wiper motor that I removed from the Buick before junking it and I want to put it on my Chevelle so I have a wiper delay function.

yup. supposed to tuck down behind the back edge of the hood, down on the wide satin black trim at the base of the windshield. not sure if you'll get the same effect on your Chevelle though. IIRC its seems like the rear edge on a Chevelle hood (not sure what year you're talking about) doesn't flare up as much - not sure.

All "A" body and "G" body 68' & up tuck under the hood.

:beers: Cool I'm on my way to having delay wipers on the old boat. I'm glad they have the hidden feature, I didnt want the wipers to be stuck in view.

In washington state....well... lets just say wipers are a big deal :biggrin:

it probably won't bolt right into your Chevelle- different cars use different geometries in the linkages.

Roger on that, I wouldn't expect it to be a bolt on. I mocked it up and they are very similar but nowhere enough to bolt in.
