i went to install a thrasher chip in my 84 t type and found a kenne bell chip already in. the part number is 90044 or 90046 the last digit is written weird. it also has an orange circular sticker on top of it. can anyone help me figure out what the specs are on it and all of the details? thanks alot

it's a generic kb chip for hotairs,"the innovators" only made one.i had one in my car when i first got it,it ran ok,better than stock anyway.

i'd say go with the thrasher.is the thrasher for the 84 ecm?

i didnt know you could run a thrasher on a hot-air hairdryer, without the ecm swap..

i dont think thrasher makes custom chips, for the hot airs

You can use their chips for the intercooled cars,
but even then u had to spend another 75 bucks for a used ecm and a Mat sensor

who knows, maybe it will run ,but not properly
no ideaaaaaaaaaaa, i never tried it

the only chip i ever seen for a hot-airs was the hypertech
and that probli did nuthing much, but drain yer wallet:rolleyes:

For hotair chips, go to Precision Turbo(1-219-996-7834), Joe Lubrant will custom make you a chip for around $60
;)
