O.K. , I just got my new Autometer gauges and I'm thrilled, BUT, where does the Temp. gauge go in at? According to the service manual there is a "Coolant Temperature Switch" over on the right side of the motor. As well as a "Coolant Temperature Sensor" on the left side of the motor. Both stick straight out to the front. So which one is it? The new autometer gauge has a sensor probe with adapters for a few different size holes. But I don't which one. Come on smart guys - fill me in! - BB:p

Remove the coolant temp switch and place the sender for your new gauge there. The coolant temp switch is what turns on the temp light on the dash so it will no longer work, so watch your guage. The coolant temp sensor is for the ECM so leave it alone. HTH
