Heater eliminate

Is the water pump inlet from factory heater under pressure .....or just a return to system???

its the return after going through the core but to answer the question
EVERYTHING that has coolant in it under your hood is under pressure when at operating temp except the reservior
if you put a rubber cap over the waterpump from dorman (1) it needs a clamp , (2) its only rubber and its not reinforced and will split and fail eventually

best way to cap is to tap and use a thread in plug with sealer

Keep a spare cap in the trunk. Next to the spare crank sensor...

And the extra fuel pump relay, fuses, spare tire, jumper cables etc..... all in a days fun....
