gtp sway bar

Apparently, these things are known for sway bars going bad. Where it bolts up at the end is gone. Didn't see much sense in putting another factory one on that will just do it again. Anyone know of a replacement that I won't have to worry about? I hate replacing a pos part with another pos part. Thanks, Tim

GM Performance Parts makes a front and rear bar set. The front bar is quite a bit larger. And it should not break like the stock one.

ZZPerformance and other 3800 performance sources, as well as dealer parts departments and the large performance houses, sell these.

34 mm front vs. 28 mm front
19 mm solid rear vs. 17 mm hollow rear

SLP and others offer bars, but all the fronts I have seen are solid and heavy.

Keller has you pretty well covered for sources. if you ever may mod the car flip the sway bar over while your at it since you should do it if you add a downpipe or headers to gain clearance
