Grey turbo t....my latest project

Picked this one up few weeks ago. Typical road hard put away wet TR. So far gutted interior and lots of cleaning and painting. Por 15 on the entire floor pan. New rear shoes. Redid front suspension. New ball joints, tubular upper control arms. New pads rotors brake hoses todays project. May start putting interior back in also.

Plans for this one are new tranny, freshen the engine, detail repaint engine bay and under carriage. Gta wheels. 60lb injectors with pt 54 turbo, ptc converter. I may keep it long enough to strip and repaint but agian I my just sell it after the mechanicals are done. It had an older paint job with areas coming through where body work had been done, appears to have a solid body. Also would like to do lesabre dash conversion. Winter is full of work

Interior is all steam cleaned. Need to find some grey carpet dye some areas are faded.

Interior is back in. Concole repainted with matching paint. New shifter handle. Seats and door panels are orginal. Still need sunvisors. I would like a new carpet, it's in good shape but whoever cut didn't do a good job. Gotta get the front end aligned and new tags then it's road ready. Next will be either new tranny and under carriage detail or trunk detail. Engine will be last. Here are some pics.

Got the old trans out. It is a brf loaded with the wrong vb and gov. The orginal soft stator and a super servo. New trans is almost ready. It should be installed sometime Sunday.

Floor pan is painted with rustoelum truck bed coating. It came out nice the governor that came out is the red one.

New trans installed waiting on dry weather to test drive. All seems well on the lift.
