Grand Cherokee steering shaft

The shaft is a direct fit the only grinding is for the top bolt which slightly touches the steering column shaft most peeps tap the bolt in with a hammer and get it started with no grinding I found it easier to slide tha shaft up and mark it where the bolt hits slide it back off and grind-it takes about 30 seconds of grinding with a die grinder then you can put the top bolt in and get it threaded by hand not a big deal either way 84-96 shafts on regular cherokee all work early ones have 7/16 bolts later ones have 1/2 bolts
Grand cherokee most of them have smaller opening for the upper shaft and will not fit without a lot of grinding. This is a cheap mod that you can feel the difference even if the jeep shaft has a small amount of play in the joints or shaft where they slide together
