If I make it there in 1 piece I will no doubt be quite thirsty for that beer.Go Pro's are great, ask Spoolfool!
Call me when you get to the 602! We should have a beer.
Good idea, I've seen people do that on YouTube but Id no doubt fuck something up, gotta keep it simple. How about a drone that can follow you? Not sure what models have that feature.
Nice thanks man, my friend is recommending hero 9.. Can u take pics with a button or something? Would like to be able to stream it to host site as I ride so my old man can follow along.. In the past I've used a spot tracker n he would just follow the "breadcrumbs' to see where I'm atI have had a Hero 2 and a Hero 8. The hero 8 has more options and a little better in darker situations. I did find it a little hard to learn all the options. I always mounted mine under the visor of my motocross helmet. I loved that line of sight on the video, looked just like how I saw it riding.
Been on the (off) road for 2 weeks now, got a bunch of great pics the old fashioned way.. stop bike, remove phone from mount, switch from GPS to camera mode, snap pic, remount phone, restart bike & resume.. a chore for sure but so well worth it.. highlight? I decided to detour up to Vail from poncha springs on the off chance of meeting my hero James hetfield, didn't get that chance BUT while walking around Vail village looking like a weary transient with filthy dirt bike clothes I bumped into his son Castor (drummer for Bastardane) & wife Francesca. I introduced myself and we chatted for a few , such nice "normal" people it made my day & trip! Can't help with the video stuff, but have fun and post up when you get done.
A lot of events either ban drones outright, or require a pile of extra insurance to run them. They're wary of a drone landing on a spectator's face. How about a drone that can follow you? Not sure what models have that feature.
