GNX wheel center caps

Guys,

I have the GTA wheels and the center caps pop off once in a while. The center caps are fairly new and I've tried putting tape around the tabs, but they still won't stay on. I was wondering what others have done to keep them from popping off.

Hmmm I've never had that problem with mine

on my my GNX repro's i used black RTV when mine fell off. i finally gave BFH a phone call and come some nice center caps with some 3m super space sticky tape on them maybe you can PM him and ask him where he gets his from!

Mine have metal "brackets" inserted in them that seem to help keep them on tight. I believe these brackets are stock and supposed to be on them.
The center caps I have can also be found on the aluminum Pontiac "directional" wheels that came on Firebirds/TAs.

Metal brackets are the key

The ones most venders sell don't have the metal bracket that really holds them on. GM still sells them, part # 12514403, still resonably priced from gm parts direct. Around $7 apiece + shipping.
Some people glue them on with good results too.
