for those that are interested.spoke with jay white this evening,they have a new pump that is the size of the walboro and drops in tank but flows better than the bosch 044.it requires no mods, believe its pt 340 or 342 on the website jays racing.com
to my knowledge it is not.from my conversation with jay the pumps are designed to pump alot of fuel and require lower amps.i have one coming but my car is hibernating for the winter.
